Natalie + Esa at Pecan Springs Ranch
Natalie and Esa are SO much fun. From the minute we met, I knew their wedding was going to be a party, and it did not disappoint. They are full of life and energy and so very clearly in love. On November 19, about 200 of their family and friends joined them to celebrate their marriage in the Texas Hill Country. Fall weather (a rarity in Texas!), autumn-hued blooms, beer burros, and confetti cannons made this one for the books. Not to mention all of the heartfelt moments that I have so enjoyed reliving through Shalyn Nelson’s gorgeous capture of their big day.

“The best part of the day and what made it so special was getting married on my grandma’s 89th birthday. She is my biggest fan, role model, and best friend. I didn’t cry on walking down the aisle, seeing Esa for our first look, or reading our vows, but I lost it when my grandma pulled me aside in the bridal cottage, right before I put on my dress and told me, “This day is the beginning to so many blessings and hardships that will come to your life, but remember, happiness and love will always guide you.” During the reception, our guests sang my favorite lady Happy Birthday. It meant so much to us to have everyone in that room honor her. I will always remember the look on her face, it was complete joy.” – Natalie
