Christine + Faisal at Villa del Lago (Part II)
As much as I adored the way the morning ceremony and reception came together, I am absolutely smitten with the evening festivities. Christine envisioned a soft color palette, an elegant dinner under the stars and plenty of romance and fun…
Rosehip Flora completely transformed the ceremony space, replacing the bright hues with ivory draping, driftwood and white blooms. I can’t get over how beautiful it was! And with the lake as a backdrop? Stop. Too much.

Villa del Lago is situated on a gorgeous piece of land. The landscaping is immaculate and the surrounding views are to die for. This picture captures the whole scene and at such a sweet time.

I love “coming back down the aisle” pictures. They’re filled with a completely different kind of joy.

The evening flowers were a perfectly muted version of the brighter colors from the morning. Exotic blooms and small touches like Moroccan lanterns tied the two events together and nodded to the groom’s culture. The flowers were truly beautiful and brought the vibe Christine was after to life.

I heart everything about this picture. The lights, the tables, the symmetry. This scene makes my heart sing.

Modern wooden boxes held arrangements, and a smattering of succulents, votives and poseys in little copper vessels completed the look.

There’s almost nothing I adore more than a ceiling of twinkling lights overhead. (They don’t look bad in photographs, either!) Props to D&H who showed up at the CRACK of dawn to string these bad boys. Totally worth it.

Oh, and then there’s THIS CAKE. Delicate, beautiful, delicious. Paloma hand-piped the gold detail to resemble traditional henna!

It was a clear, beautiful night. (Look at the stars! Jake Holt truly captured it all.)

Christine and Faisal, I cannot thank you enough for taking a chance on me and trusting me with your day. You two will forever hold a special place in my heart. (Sometimes I still wake up in the morning and expect to see emails from you!) Congratulations again on your marriage–wishing you nothing but the best!
