Katy + Trevor at Pleasant Hill Farm

Katy and Trevor’s love story is near and dear to my heart because it reminds me of my own. They met through Young Life while serving at a summer camp, they then endured the ups and downs of long-distance dating and made it out on the other side! They said “I Do” over Memorial Day weekend at Katy’s family farm in Brenham, TX. From the moment her parents realized that things were starting to get serious between Katy and Trevor they began working to get the farm ready to be turned into a fully-functioning wedding venue. They put their heart and soul into making the grounds perfect… and it did not go unnoticed! Every piece of grass was perfectly manicured, flower beds were planted, and there was not a touch of trash anywhere to be seen. The word that came to my mind throughout their wedding weekend was: intentional. Everything that happened prior to their wedding day and on their wedding day was intentional.

Even though Katy and Trevor’s day was threatened with storms, the clouds and rain held off until we gathered everyone into the tent for dinner and dancing. Despite a rough storm in the middle of the reception, Katy and Trevor never lost their joy (or smiling faces!). They are a couple so intent on loving and honoring each other, and it was evident in every aspect of their wedding day. It was an honor to be a part of this joy-filled celebration and I am so thankful to the Broesche family for letting me be a part of it!
