Elizabeth + Will at Vaudeville
Every once in a while, you stumble on someone who you instantly know is “one of your people.” Thus it was with me and Elizabeth. We clicked from the minute I answered her call, and when I heard the words “Fredericksburg wedding,” I knew it was definitely meant to be. (My husband and I were married in Fredericksburg, so the town will forever hold a special place in my heart.)
Elizabeth is an interior designer in Dallas with an impeccable eye for style, and she found her perfect match in Vaudeville, a historic building on Main Street that has been painstakingly restored to all its former glory by the new owners, Jordan and Richard. The space is a perfect blend of Hill Country charm and old world glam, as was Elizabeth + Will’s wedding.

Trolleys shuttled guests from their hotels to the ceremony, reception and then home again at the end of the evening. I mean…trolley photos are the sweetest. Hands down.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and passed appetizers in Vaudeville’s limestone courtyard. They got a beautiful spring evening–the courtyard was a hit all night!
The escort card display was a fun DIY project! Elizabeth designed and printed the cards, and shipped them down to Austin. I rented a few frames from Loot Vintage, and some plywood + linen + brass nails later…ta da!

Elizabeth ordered about 40 feet of eucalyptus garland online, and we used it to line the staircase and create a couple wreaths at the entrance to dinner.

Dinner was held in the upstairs gallery. Y’all. The space is killer. Restored wood floors. Brick walls. Custom art on the walls. Balcony overlooking Main Street. The ambience. As if that wasn’t enough, Vaudeville catered a 5-star, family-style meal.

After asking the band to stay an extra hour (the sign of a good party!), Elizabeth + Will departed for their hotel amid cheers and sparklers.

Congratulations, Elizabeth + Will! It was so fun working with you on your big day, and I’m blessed to have two new friends in Dallas!
