Ann + Erik at Laguna Gloria
Ann + Erik were married at Laguna Gloria in an intimate, greenery-filled celebration on the museum grounds. About 80 of their closest family and friends traveled in from across the country to witness their ceremony and celebrate with them.
Just a few of my favorite details:
- Ann’s custom dress. She worked with a designer in Kansas to create a one-of-a-kind piece for her big day.
- Ann was originally against any flowers (but later warmed up to just a few in her bridal bouquet — hooray!). Although I am usually all about blooms, I love the way the greenery, including a slight tropical vibe, played against the backdrop of the venue. It was a perfect fit — like we (meaning Erin and her team at Rosehip Flora!) had taken clippings from all over the grounds for the bouquets and the centerpieces.
- The green and white striped liner in her invitation suite was a nod to the striped awnings on the back porch of the villa at Laguna, which was the backdrop for dinner and dancing.
