Hi! I'm Ellen.

I am the owner of Westcott Weddings, and I am thrilled to do what I love. I find joy in designing thoughtful experiences, and I believe that is exactly what your wedding day should be: An event that feels like you from beginning to end. An event that is personal, intentional, and meaningful. Above all, I believe in marriage, and I count it an honor to walk alongside my brides and grooms as they prepare for their big day and for life together as a couple.

Prior to launching Westcott Weddings, I spent six years in the agency world, consulting with clients like Estée Lauder, GE, and Whole Foods. That experience has proven to be invaluable and not all that different from what I do today in the wedding world, which is everything from creative direction to project management and execution.

To give your day the time and attention it deserves, I work with a limited number of couples each year.

I am honored to have had my work featured in leading print and online publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty, Southern Weddings, Brides of Austin, and Hooray! Magazine.

Hi! I’m Meredith.

As a newlywed myself, I believe in the covenant of marriage, and I find joy and meaning in contributing to the most memorable celebration in my clients’ lives.

I love connecting with couples to bring their vision for the day to life. Even more special, though, is the excitement and beauty of bringing two people together as one. (You can definitely count on a few tears from me on the day-of!) I believe that people feel the most loved when they are well taken care of, so your (and your guests’!) experience is always at the forefront of my mind.

I am a lover of to-do lists, calendars, iced coffee, and Mexican food. Originally from Tennessee, I now live in Austin with my husband Gregg, and our pup, Georgia.

I cannot say enough about Westcott Weddings! We met with a few wedding planners (“planner” does not do her justice) before choosing Ellen at Westcott Weddings. After our initial meeting, I left feeling calm and excited about the year ahead. She exceeded every expectation. I (or my family) didn’t have to think/worry about a single thing. Several friends and family members mentioned how wonderful, professional and kind Ellen was. Our wedding was a huge feat, and Ellen did it with a smile. She has truly found her calling. She has impeccable taste and a kind heart. I felt like I was planning my wedding with a friend.

Ellen is a true professional in every sense of the word. She has impeccable taste. She doesn’t skip a beat when it comes to what needs to get addressed and done. She is sweet, kind, and creative. She always kept her word and was 2 steps ahead of everything that I needed. I would do it all over again tomorrow in a heartbeat and have Ellen guiding me through it all. She was amazing. Hire her, it will be the best money you will spend during your wedding.

Stacey, Bride

Our daughter’s recent wedding weekend was a huge success due in large part to our good judgment in hiring Ellen Westcott as our wedding planner. Ellen has impeccable taste and great tact. She proved to be highly organized, self-directed, and impressively hard-working. I’ve always said that the test of a good event coordinator is how they handle the inevitable challenges that present in the clutch. We didn’t get to see that in action at any of our wedding events in part because Ellen’s highly organized planning took so much into account up front. Thank you, Ellen. We will always be grateful for your leadership in organizing this important family weekend.
